ALWAGHT- Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei, marking Jesus Christ's birth anniversary, highlighted it as a moment to reflect on the divine teachings of the great prophet, who advocates for justice, peace, and kindness.
"We extend our congratulations to all Christians worldwide, particularly our fellow Christians, on the birth of Jesus (PBUH) and the arrival of the new year," Baghaei wrote on his X account.
He added, "The celebration of Jesus Christ's birth is a chance to reflect on the divine teachings of this great prophet, who invites all to justice, peace, and kindness."
Baghaei also emphasized that Iran, with its rich history of interfaith harmony and cultural coexistence, takes pride in the shared heritage of Abrahamic religions.
