ALWAGHT- Yemen’s armed forces announced the successful execution of an operation against an Israeli military target within the occupied territories, expressing solidarity with Palestinians amidst the Tel Aviv regime’s ongoing war in the besieged Gaza Strip.
Yemen’s armed forces announced on Tuesday that they had successfully struck an Israeli military site in the occupied area of Yaffa using a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile. The operation, described as a success, highlights Yemen’s commitment to confronting Israeli-American-British aggression and supporting Palestinians in Gaza until the blockade is lifted and hostilities cease.
In recent weeks, Yemeni forces have escalated their military actions against Israeli-occupied territories. Notably, they conducted a drone operation on Monday targeting the city of Asqalan with a domestically developed, long-range Yaffa kamikaze drone. This followed a hypersonic missile strike on Tel Aviv’s southern Jaffa area on Saturday, which injured at least 20 Israeli settlers.
These intensified actions are part of Yemen’s broader efforts to show solidarity with the Palestinian resistance amidst Israel’s ongoing campaign in Gaza. The Yemeni forces have targeted Israeli vessels in the Red Sea and Bab el-Mandeb Strait and carried out multiple missile and drone attacks focused on Tel Aviv. They have vowed to continue these operations as long as the assault on Gaza persists, signaling the potential for further escalation.
The conflict has also drawn international involvement. In October, the US deployed B-2 stealth bombers to Yemen in support of Israel, marking the beginning of sustained attacks on Yemen by Israel, the US, and the UK. These actions aim to curb retaliatory strikes by Yemen, underscoring the growing complexity and regional implications of the conflict.
