The Government Media Office in Gaza reports that "Israel" has committed 9,905 massacres in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, including 7,160 attacks on Palestinian families. The Ministry of Health confirmed that 1,410 families were completely wiped out, resulting in 5,444 deaths among family members. The total death toll, including missing persons, has reached 55,758, comprising 17,712 children and 12,136 women.
The humanitarian crisis is dire, with 3,500 children at risk of death from malnutrition, 12,650 injured individuals requiring treatment abroad, and 12,500 cancer patients unable to access critical care. Medical personnel have also suffered, with 1,059 healthcare workers and 88 civil defense members killed. The occupation has destroyed 212 shelters, 211 government offices, and 160,500 homes, leaving over 2 million displaced. Damage estimates exceed $37 billion, and Gaza’s infrastructure is 86% destroyed.
The report also highlights abuses in Israeli detention centers. At the Etzion prison, detainees suffered food poisoning after consuming spoiled meals. Symptoms included severe abdominal pain, vomiting, and fainting. The Palestinian Prisoners Society accused the prison administration of providing low-quality food and subjecting detainees to harsh conditions, including solitary confinement and physical abuse.
The Commission of Detainees' Affairs has called for urgent international intervention to protect detainees and alleviate their suffering. They allege deliberate mistreatment of prisoners since the start of the assault on Gaza, urging the global community to hold Israel accountable for these violations.
