Hamas Claims 20 Israeli Soldiers Killed in Gaza Over Two Days

Hamas Claims 20 Israeli Soldiers Killed in Gaza Over Two Days

ALWAGHT- The Palestinian Hamas resistance movement claims its fighters have killed at least 20 Israeli soldiers in northern Gaza over two days, in retaliation for what it describes as the occupying regime’s genocidal war on the Palestinian territory.

In a Monday evening statement, Hamas reported that fighters from its military wing, the al-Qassam Brigades, killed at least five Israeli soldiers in northern Gaza earlier that day and 15 more on Sunday.

Hamas described this “qualitative operation” as further evidence of the failure of what it calls the “Zionist entity” to suppress Palestinian resistance, which it says continues to carry out strategic strikes. The group also asserted that intensified Israeli actions in northern Gaza, which have claimed over 1,000 Palestinian lives in recent weeks, have fueled increased Palestinian resistance.

The resistance movement emphasized that it is waging a war of attrition, inflicting ongoing losses on Israeli forces and frustrating any goals set by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Hamas vowed to respond to continued Israeli aggression with intensified resistance until hostilities end and Israel fully withdraws from Gaza.

According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, as the conflict enters its 14th month, Israeli attacks have killed at least 43,603 Palestinians and wounded 102,929 others.
