ALWAGHT- The Lebanese resistance group Hezbollah has carried out drone and rocket attacks on Israeli military bases and settlements in response to the regime’s violent campaigns in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip.
In statements released on Sunday, Hezbollah confirmed it carried out operations targeting the Haifa Naval Base, the Naoura facility, and two Israeli settlements in northern occupied territories.
The resistance group reported launching a squadron of attack drones at the Haifa Naval Base, home to missile boats and submarines in Haifa Bay. A similar drone attack was carried out at the Naoura base, which serves as the headquarters for the Israeli military’s 36th Division near the Lebanese border.
Hezbollah also fired rocket barrages at the Israeli settlements of Bar Yohai and Ayelet HaShahar.
The operations, Hezbollah stated, were carried out in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza and their resistance efforts, as well as in defense of Lebanon. Since October 2023, Israel's brutal two-front aggression has resulted in at least 43,603 deaths in Gaza and 3,189 in Lebanon.
Over this period, Israel has also assassinated several resistance leaders, including Hezbollah Secretary General Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah. Following Nasrallah’s assassination in late September, Hezbollah has escalated its retaliatory attacks on Israeli targets, pledging to continue its fight until the Tel Aviv regime ends its wars.
