ALWAGHT- The Iranian Armed Forces General Staff praised Pakistan for its recent operation against terrorist groups.
In a statement on Sunday, Iran’s General Staff commended Pakistan for its November 5 military operation against terrorists.
The statement highlighted that Pakistan, a “friendly and brotherly” neighbor, targeted terrorist groups acting as proxies for the US and the Zionist regime, who have disrupted security along the Iran-Pakistan border with acts of sabotage.
Iran noted that on November 5, the Pakistani army independently conducted an operation against a Takfiri terrorist group within Pakistan, resulting in the deaths of several terrorists.
The Iranian Armed Forces expressed gratitude to Pakistan for its responsible action, expressing hope that bilateral security agreements would lead to the complete elimination of terrorist groups and ensure security along the shared border.
After visiting Islamabad on November 5, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi announced that both nations had agreed to intensify joint efforts against terrorism and strengthen cooperation in this area.
