ALWAGHT- Hezbollah's Deputy Secretary General, Sheikh Naim Qassem, announces that Lebanon's resistance movement has entered a "new phase" in its battle against the Israeli regime.
Hezbollah's deputy leader, Sheikh Naim Qassem, addressed a crowd of mourners in southern Beirut on Sunday, announcing that the group has entered a "new phase" in its conflict with Israel, which he described as an "open-ended battle of reckoning." He emphasized that Hezbollah is prepared for all military possibilities, undeterred by threats, and claimed that Israel's efforts to undermine the resistance had failed.
Qassem also criticized the United States for supporting Israel's actions in Gaza, accusing Washington of being complicit in Israel's aggression. He warned that Israel's future would be bleak, predicting its economy would collapse, and that it would be left in a state of fear.
The speech followed an Israeli airstrike in southern Beirut that killed senior Hezbollah commanders Ibrahim Aqil and Mahmoud Yassin Hamad, along with 43 others. In response, Hezbollah retaliated with strikes on northern Israel and attacked Israel's Rafael weapons manufacturing facility in Haifa. Hamas praised Hezbollah for its actions amid rising tensions and the growing threat of an all-out war.
