ALWAGHT- The Iranian foreign ministry spokesman stated that the West has lost its dignity and honor in the conflict against Gaza, experiencing an ethical collapse and a decline in civilization.
In a post on his X account, Nasser Kanaani, the Iranian foreign ministry spokesman, expressed that America and Europe label those who defend their lands against foreign occupying forces and fight to protect their homes, families, and human dignity against a heavily armed invading army as terrorists and supporters of terrorism. He remarked that if anyone supports an oppressed nation under occupation, they are considered supporters of terrorism, pointing to the United States and Western countries' double standards and hypocrisy regarding terrorism and human rights.
Kanaani also criticized the West for not labeling the Israeli regime as terrorists despite its actions, which he claims have resulted in the deaths of over 40,000 people in 10 months, including around 10,000 children. Instead, he noted, Israel receives praise and various forms of political, security, military, and weapons support. He concluded by stating that the West has lost its dignity and honor in the war against Gaza, suffering from ethical collapse and civilizational decline.
