ALWAGHT- The Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces assured the president-elect that the military will maintain close cooperation with his administration.
In a message on Saturday, Major General Mohammad Hossein Bagheri congratulated Masoud Pezeshkian on his presidential election victory.
The top general highlighted the election's role in bolstering national unity and safeguarding the country's independence and security against hostile schemes.
He affirmed that the Iranian Armed Forces are ready, as always, to cooperate and interact with the upcoming 14th administration led by the president-elect.
Major General Bagheri also expressed optimism that efforts to enhance Iran’s defense capabilities would significantly contribute to stabilizing the country's strength, deterrent power, security, and protection of the Islamic Republic's principles.
