ALWAGHT- The US base at Al-Tanf, situated in the desert region of Syria's Homs province, was hit by an unidentified suicide drone.
According to the report, the Anadolu Agency, citing local sources, stated that the US base in the Al-Tanf area near the Jordanian border was targeted by a suicide drone late Saturday.
The sources noted that American soldiers stationed at the base intercepted and downed the drone in the desert area of the base.
This US base had also been targeted by a drone attack from unknown sources on April 7.
Recently, US bases in the Al-Tanf and Al-Malikiyah areas near the Iraqi border, as well as in the Al-Shaddadi area in Al-Hasakah province and Deir ez-Zor province in Syria, have been targeted by suicide drones of unknown origin or ground-to-ground missiles.
