ALWAGHT- According to a report from The Washington Post (WP) on Monday, the US government is set to soon announce a weapons sale to Israel, which will include 50 F-15 fighter jets worth $18 billion.
TASS, citing the Washington Post, reported that the Washington government plans to send a shipment to Israel comprising 1,800 2,000-pound (907 kg) bombs and 1,700 500-pound (227 kg) bombs.
The report also mentions that the supply of these weapons was previously halted due to US concerns over Israel's extensive operations in Rafah, a city in the southern Gaza Strip.
On June 16 (Sunday), the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that since October 7, 2023, over 37,700 people have been killed and approximately 85,300 injured as a result of Israel's attack on the Gaza Strip.
The Gaza Ministry of Health further reported that the Zionist regime committed two new attacks in different areas of the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, resulting in the deaths of 10 people and injuries to 73 others.
