ALWAGHT- During the retaliatory operation against Israeli military targets on April 14, an Iranian general mentioned that only 20% of the offensive capability of one division of the IRGC Aerospace Force was utilized. Additionally, it was noted that 240 fighter jets provided by the US and NATO were available to assist the Zionists.
Major General Gholam Ali Rashid, the Commander of Khatam al-Anbia Headquarters, provided information regarding the 'True Promise Operation' conducted by the Iranian armed forces against Israeli military targets last month.
In the early hours of April 14, the IRGC Aerospace Force launched dozens of missiles and drones against military targets in the occupied territories in response to the Israeli regime’s April 1 airstrike on the consular section of Iran’s embassy in Damascus, which resulted in the martyrdom of seven Iranian military commanders and advisers.
General Rashid stated that only one division of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Aerospace Force was assigned to carry out the operation, and even that unit utilized only 20 percent of its offensive capability during the operation.
On the opposing side, the US, NATO, CENTCOM, and the Zionist regime had assembled 240 fighter jets, with multiple anti-missile air defense systems on alert aboard US warships in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea, as well as the Zionist regime’s anti-missile systems, the general stated.
He added that the single division of the IRGC Aerospace Force was ready to deploy the remaining 80 percent of its offensive capability and execute another round of strikes upon command.
However, the Iranian commanders determined that the operation was sufficient for punishing the Zionist regime, the general highlighted.
He remarked that the backing provided by the US, the UK, France, and European governments to the Israeli regime echoed the era of the Crusades.
During a gathering with senior Iranian military officials on April 21, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, praised the Iranian Armed Forces for demonstrating the nation’s strength and resolve on the global stage through the retaliatory operation against the Israeli regime.
