ALWAGHT- On Monday night, the Israeli military regime declared that an explosion near the "Netzarim" area in central Gaza resulted in the demise of two Zionist military officers, with another officer sustaining severe injuries.
The Israeli occupation army announced: "The spokesperson's office of the Israeli regime's army has authorized the release of this information regarding the fatalities of Brigadier General "Ido Aviv" group fighters from Kiryat Yam and Brigadier General "Kalkidan Mehari" in an explosion at their residential building near the Netzarim Corridor in northern Gaza.
The announcement further stated: "Two additional army personnel have been wounded, one critically, and have been airlifted to the hospital for medical treatment.
According to Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, the incident in Netzarim, northern Gaza, followed an explosion likely caused by an anti-tank missile or mortar rounds. Despite the presence of Israeli army reserve forces inside, the blast resulted in the building's detonation. The occupying army continues its investigation into the matter."

According to this report, since the beginning of the ground operation in Gaza on October 7th, approximately 263 soldiers of the Israeli occupying army have been killed, bringing the total number of casualties from the start of the war on October 7th until now to 608.
