ALWAGHT- The Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (Hashd al-Shaabi) confirmed in a statement early Saturday morning the occurrence of an explosion at the military base of Kalsu located in the northern Babylon province.
The Iraqi Popular Mobilization Force released a statement confirming an explosion at the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Forces in the Kalsu military base, situated in the Al-Mashru area of northern Babylon province.
The statement further indicates that an investigative team promptly arrived at the scene, and the explosion resulted in both material damage and multiple injuries. Following the completion of initial investigations, additional details regarding the explosion will be forthcoming.
Additionally, the director of the Al Mayadeen office in Baghdad reported that these attacks targeted the primary entrance of the Kalsu base, a car garage, and two offices of the Popular Mobilization Forces, emphasizing the severity of the attacks.
He also stated that the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Forces has been targeted with three attacks, resulting in at least 3 injuries.
According to this report, the aerial activity of American aircraft in the skies of Iraq is active as usual, with a fuel tanker aircraft observed in Iraqi airspace.
On the other hand, PBS network, citing a US official, reported that the US military has no activity in the area where the explosion in Babylon province, Iraq occurred.
