ALWAGHT- The Yemeni armed forces spokesperson reported yesterday (Wednesday) that four American and Israeli ships were attacked in Yemen's territorial waters.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the spokesperson for the Yemeni armed forces, announced that this morning Yemeni forces carried out four military operations targeting two Israeli ships and two American ships in the Gulf of Aden.
He mentioned that the two Israeli ships, MSC Darwin and MSC GINA, were hit in the Gulf of Aden.
Saree also stated that the American vessel MAERSK YORKTOWN and an American warship were similarly targeted in the Gulf of Aden.
He indicated that these Israeli and American ships were attacked with several missiles and suitable naval drones.
The spokesperson for the Yemeni armed forces added that they continue to uphold their religious, moral, and humanitarian duties towards the oppressed Palestinian people and in defense of Yemen.
Saree also stressed that their operations in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean will persist until the aggression ends and the blockade on Gaza is lifted.
Over the past few months, the Yemeni army has struck several American, British, and Zionist ships, as well as ships heading towards the occupied territories in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait, in support of the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip.
The Yemeni army has pledged to continue targeting Israeli vessels or ships bound for the occupied territories in the Red Sea as long as the Israeli regime persists in its attacks on Gaza.
