Alwaght- People in Iran continue to vote in parliament and Assembly of Experts elections with long queues are reported in various polling stations.
Polls opened at 8:00 local time (4:30 UTC), with the first vote cast by the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei .
In this election, over 61 million people are eligible to vote. Of this numbe, over 30.9 million are men and over 30.2 million are women.
According to Tasnim News Agency, long lines of people have been formed waiting to cast their votes.
The Leader cast his vote in the early hours of the morning and called on people to participate with high rates to send a clear message to the world.
