Alwaght- Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan has arrived in the capital Tehran on the first visit since March détente agreement between the two countries.
Bin Faisal headed a high-ranking delegation to Iran.
The visit comes at the invitation of counterpart Hussein Amir-Abdollahian
The Saudi FM was welcomed by Amir-Abdollahian and are to meet within a few hours before a press conference.
They are to discuss bilateral ties and ways to expand their relations as part of an ongoing reconciliation process.
The two countries signed a rapprochement deal in March and planned to reopen embassies within two months.
