IRGC Not to Hesitate to Target Any Anti-Iran Operation Wherever it May Be: Commander

Alwaght- In the past few days, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) launched a new wave of strikes the activities of separatist terrorist groups on the country's western and northwestern borders in Iraqi Kurdistan region. The attacks, started from Saturday, continued to Thursday even stronger targeting headquarters and bases of terrorist groups, in particular Komala Party, with precision missiles and drones. According to the IRGC, the terrorists incurred heavy fatalities and damages.

The accomplishment of the anti-terror operation in the recent days using suicide drones and pinpoint missiles demonstrates the full intelligence dominance of the IRGC and the country's intelligence institutions over the concentration centers of these terrorist groups and also the IRGC capability to eliminate the sources of threat from inside the country.

With the IRGC and intelligence ministry watching the movement of the terrorists and gaining intelligence about their involvement and planning in the riots in some Iranian border provinces last week following the death of an Iranian woman in police custody, the main goal of the operation was to send a resolute message that Iran's great defense capabilities will not allow any opportunism and intervention of the foreign agents to fuel riots and tensions in the country for their grim schemes against Iran's national security and territorial integrity.

In a statement, the IRGC said: "After repeated warnings to Iraqi Kurdistan region's authorities through related channels and asking them to eliminate the ground for activity of anti-Iranian terrorist groups affiliated with the world imperialism and their inattention to this legitimate demand which meant continuation of the presence of these terrorist forces on our borders and their attacks on our border posts and support for recent riots, the IRGC's Hamza Sayyid Al-Shuhada Command Center started its artillery attacks on their bases and headquarters in parts of Iraqi Kurdistan region."

For many years, Kurdistan region in northern Iraq has been the safe haven and activity center for anti-Iranian terrorist groups, and the elements affiliated with these groups, with the support and foreign intelligence provision, have been attempting to conduct destabilizing activities and threaten peace on the Iranian borders in west of the country.

Iran provided Erbil with documents about the terrorists' activities and warned them to take steps to remove the Iranian security concerns and preserve the security of the region for the good of friendly relations and good neighborliness, but the Kurdish authorities declined to do their part.

The presence of these groups, most detested by the Iranians and local people of Kurdistan, has always provided the anti-Iranian actors, particularly the Israeli regime, with instruments to deal blows to Islamic Republic's interests through sabotage, division, and terrorist actions.

The movements by the Israeli and other foreign intelligence services that are seeking to fish in troubled waters caused by recent unrest in Iran are not unwatched by the Iranian military and intelligence forces, and the recent operation sent a clear warning to Kurdish officials about the consequences of the ignorance of the Israeli movement on Kurdistan region soil. In mid-March, Iran destroyed secret Mossad spying base in Kurdistan region with precision missiles in warning to Erbil leaders but the Barzanis look far from getting the message and insist on being pawns in the hands of Iran's enemies.

The IRGC statement suggests that these strikes will continue until effective elimination of the terrorist bases and Kurdish leaders fulfill their commitments, signaling that Iran is losing its patience and will no more stop at warnings.
