Israelis Running a Propaganda to Evade Certain Iranian Revenge

Israelis Running a Propaganda to Evade Certain Iranian Revenge

Alwaght- The tensions between Iran and the Israeli regime have reached their climactic point in recent months, with intensified verbal clashes representing this confrontation. After assassination of Iranian officer Hassan Sayyed Khodaee on May 22, IRGC vowed a "harsh revenge", sending shivers down the Israeli spine.

Israeli officials have concluded that Iran is serious about retaliation and will do so at a specific time. So, they are resorting to any tricks to prevent Iran's resolute response.

In recent days, Israeli officials have warned citizens not to travel to Iran's neighbors like Turkey, which they claim could be targeted by Iranians. The warnings have been so high level that triggered Turkish reactions. Turkey has stated that it will take the necessary measures to ensure the security of all tourists and will counter terrorist acts. Fearing the Iranian retaliation, Tel Aviv even tightened the security measures in its embassies around the world.

Alongside the officials, the Israeli media promoted the idea that because Iran does not have access to top Israeli officials and Mossad operatives for revenge, it put on its agenda targeting the Israeli citizens.

Reducing the revenge to citizens

By reducing Iran's revenge to attacks to ordinary Israelis, Tel Aviv officials intend to paint their citizens equal to the assassinated Iranian generals and scientists and at the same time decrease the value of the Iranian power to retaliate. The reality is that if Iran plans to retaliate on the ordinary citizens, thousands of them are always within its targeting range. That the officials of a "child-killer" regime seek to attribute their normal approach of killing the women, children, and journalists to Iran is an effort to normalize the criminal actions of their military, security, and intelligence forces and evade the global criticism with playing victim.

Using this propaganda, the Israelis want to paint Iran a sponsor of terrorism and put strains on Tehran to block its absolute right for retaliation. But Iran has always condemned terrorist actions and itself has been their victim for long years. Taking actions on civilians would damage the image of the retaliator, therefore, Iran has never planned terrorist attacks.

Having in mind that the Israelis are exposed to security threats from the regional resistance groups in every way, they are trying to reduce the level of threats from Iran.

Although Tehran has repeatedly proven that it takes revenge at a specific time and place, Tel Aviv is playing victim in advance. The arrest of individuals in Turkey and Thailand under the ruse of Iranian spies for carrying out terrorist operations and the seizure of Iranian cargo plane in Argentina is also being done in line with this psychological war.

By attacking the Mossad spy base in the Iraqi Kurdistan region's capital Erbil in mid-March and an Israeli ship two years ago, Iran proved that it has a strong target data bank of Israeli security and economic centers and that it can achieve its goals if necessary. On the other hand, in order to seriously punish the Israelis, Tehran is well aware of the fact that the level of revenge must match the Israeli crime and in other words it should be within tit-for-tat principle.

The Israelis have experience of heavy media and diplomatic propaganda against Iran and the Axis of Resistance in their record, and in AMIA bombing in 1994, in which a number of Argentine Jews were killed in an explosion in a building, they blamed Iran and Lebanon's Hezbollah. After three decades, no documents have been published about Iranian hands in the attack, but the Israelis continue to point their fingers on Tehran.

Large-scale Israeli propaganda about Iranian threats to Israeli tourists in recent days have been stepped up to a degree that any incidents to them would trigger anti-Iranian accusations to incite public opinion against Iran. To pressure Iran, Mossad very likely would resort to designing attacks on Israeli citizens round the world. This idea works more for Tel Aviv as it is persuading the West not to revive the nuclear agreement with Iran and continue the sanctions. This planning can be found in the Israeli past. During the WWII, the Jewish Agency teamed up with the seemingly adversary Nazis to force the Jews from around the world to travel to Palestine.

Despite all of the Israeli media propaganda, Iran has locked on cutting off the head of the snake not its tail. When the senior Israeli officials and Mossad agents are within its hit range across the region, Iran has no reason to target ordinary Israelis. The certain issue is that such psychological warfare would not work for Tel Aviv and Iran would take revenge at a specific time and place.
