Hezbollah Slams UK’s Move to Blacklist Lebanese Resistance

Britain’s Labour Party Opposes Hezbollah Ban

Alwaght-Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah condemned a recent decision by the British government to outlaw the resistance movement in its entirety, stating that some countries would follow suit.

Speaking during a televised address from the Lebanese capital, Beirut, on Friday evening he said, “They list us as a terrorist organization because they have failed in their military confrontations and schemes, and are fearful of a new war. Hezbollah’s willpower and might is getting stronger day by day indeed.”

The Hezbollah leader added that, “The latest United States sanctions are part of the psycho-economic war against us. We expect further sanctions and punitive financial measures against Hezbollah and all its allies in the Middle East (West Asia). The financial difficulties, which the anti-Israel axis of resistance is currently enduring, are part of the US-Israeli war on it. We must weather difficulties through patience, tolerance and good management.”

Sayyed Nasrallah further noted that the United States wants to achieve through economic war what it has failed to accomplish via acts of aggression.

He expressed hope that Hezbollah will eventually emerge victorious from the ongoing financial war.

Sayyed Nasrallah added that Hezbollah has managed to collect more than two million dollars in donations for the crisis-hit Yemeni people, and transferred the money to relevant authorities there to be distributed among needy people.

Elsewhere in his remarks, the Hezbollah leader said the anti-Israel resistance front, thanks to solid and unwavering support from Iran and Syria, has well managed to frustrate the Tel Aviv regime’s plots in the Middle East (West Asia).

“The party that thwarted the project to put paid to the front was all Lebanese and Palestinian resistance groups supported by Iran and Israel. The steadfastness and resilience demonstrated by Hezbollah in Lebanon, Gazans, Syria as well as Iran foiled the fiendish plot against the region back in 2006,” he noted.

Sayyed Nasrallah also praised the sacrifices made by all members of the Islamic Resistance Support Association, especially the female members, over the past 30 years.

On the domestic front, Sayyed Nasrallah touched down on the fight against corruption in Lebanon, stating that Hezbollah has launched the campaign in the country in order to preserve its national victories.

He underlined that Hezbollah will never sacrifice Lebanon’s national interests to boost its own popularity, emphasizing that his movement will support any group or party that would contribute to the battle against corruption.
