Anti-Trump Women’s March Spread Worldwide

Alwaght- Hundreds of Thousands of women have taken part in protests across the country to mark the anniversary of women’s anti-Trump march.

In Washington DC, Los Angeles, London, Athens, Berlin, to name just a few from an estimated 89 Women’s Marches worldwide, demonstrators turned out to protest against violence against women and the impact of policies of austerity. They also had some choice words for Donald Trump and Theresa May, The Guardian reported.

The protesters in Washington braved the frigid temperatures on Saturday to express their anger at policies of US President Donald Trump, and demand his impeachment while also calling for support for the rights of immigrants as well as measures to protect the environment.

Similar marches were also held or planned in other large cities throughout the US. The protest rallies mark the third year of women’s march on the day after Trump's inauguration in January 2017 that was the largest single-day protest in US history.
