Yemeni Forces Retaliatory Missile Hit Saudi Defense Ministry in Riyadh

Alwaght-Yemen's Army and Popular Forces  have fired missiles that targeted the Saudi Defense Ministry building in the capital Riyadh on Wednesday.

According to Yemeni official news agency, Saba, the Borkan-H2 a domestically-manufactured ballistic missiles bombed Saudi Ministry of Defense and other vital targets in Riyadh.

Several Badr-1 missiles hit Aramco Company's distribution facility in Najran region and King Abdullah Economic City in Jizan region, as well as other targets in the two regions.

Saudi Arabia's air defense forces claim to have  intercepted a ballistic missile over Riyadh on Wednesday, state media said, after at least three blasts were heard and three clouds of smoke were seen in the sky above the capital.

Earlier on the day, the army's drones carried out intense airstrikes on Saudi Abha Airport in Asir region and Aramco company in the south of Jizan, while a Badr-1 missile hit a military supply camp of Saudi army in the same region.

This came a day after launching a ballistic missile of Qaher-M2 type on a gathering of Sudanese mercenary troops in south of Mosim area in Jizan.

President of the Supreme Political Council Saleh Al-Sammad on Monday vowed to continue firing missiles everyday toward the depth of Saudi territories as long as the aggression coalition forces continued in committing their crimes against the Yemeni people.

Yemen has been since March 2015 under a brutal aggression by Saudi-led coalition, in a bid to restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi.

Over 14,000 Yemenis have been killed and tens of thousands injured in Saudi-led strikes, with the vast majority of them being civilians, especially women and children.

However, the allied forces of the Yemeni army and popular committees established by Ansarullah revolutionaries have been heroically confronting the aggression with all means, inflicting huge losses upon Saudi-led forces and the kingdom's strategic infrastructure including airports and oil production facilities.
