Iran Will Never Hesitate to Support Gaza, Palestine: Leader

UN Resolution Displayed Unprecedented Israeli Isolation: Haniyeh

Haniyeh ‌Arrives in Tehran, to Talk Gaza Developments with FM Amir-Abdollahian

Alwaght- Iran's President Seyyed Ibrahim Raisi told the visiting Hamas Political Bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh that Iran is proud of supporting the Palestinian cause and the struggle for liberation from the Israeli occupation.

With the fierce resistance of the oppressed people of Gaza, the Palestinian issue has gone beyond the Islamic world and has become the issue of the world, he said, adding that the people of the world hate the Zionist criminal regime and the US as its main supporter, with all their heart, and they love the oppressed people of Gaza.

The president lauded the Operation Al-Aqsa Storm by the Palestinian resistance against the Israeli occupation as a "unique" event whose failures are irreparable for Tel Aviv.

This is the second time Haniyeh is visiting Tehran since October 7.

"What has been proven today for all the people of the world is the legitimacy of the Palestinian cause and the position of its backers, including the Islamic Republic and that the fake and criminal Israeli regime is the root of all insecurities in the region and an anti-peace entity," Raisi said.

Raisi further considered any diplomatic activity of the US and the Israeli regime in the region as deceitful, stating that today the countries that were looking for normalization with this criminal regime are humiliated and ashamed in front of their people.

"The recent events in Gaza are another big scandal for America. And some Western countries supporting the Israeli child-killing regime and in fact revealed the true nature and unretouched face of America and the West to the nations of the world," he said.

Raisi stressed that final win will be Palestine’s, adding that the Israeli Republic will remain unwavering in supporting the Palestinian rights.

Haniyeh, for his part, provided an update of the developments in Palestine and mainly Gaza as he visited Tehran a day after the UNSC resolution called for immediate ceasefire in Gaza during the holy month of Ramadan.

Haniyeh also met Iran's Supreme Leader Sayyed Ali Khamenei on Thursday. The Leader said Iran will not hesitate to support the Palestinian resistance.
