ALWAGHT- Saudi-led attacks have reportedly struck civilian infrastructure in Sana’a, while the Yemeni Armed Forces are said to be advancing toward al-Turbah, a strategically important area in Taiz.
Saudi airstrikes reportedly damaged civilian sites in Sana’a, while fighting intensified across Taiz as the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) continued advancing on several fronts.
Saudi raids on Taiz were described as the most intense so far, but reports said they failed to stop the YAF’s advance. The forces were reportedly approaching the strategic al-Turbah area, potentially within hours or days.
The reported capture of al-Turbah could have major implications for the battle in Taiz, as control of the area could provide a position for further operations across the province.
Meanwhile, Yemen’s National Human Rights Commission in Sana’a accused Saudi forces of war crimes in parts of Saada. The Sana’a government said YAF operations are focused on Saudi forces and their troop concentrations, while emphasizing the protection of civilians and property in Taiz.
