ALWAGHT- Despite Netanyahu’s assurances of reducing airstrikes, Israel is still killing Palestinians throughout the Gaza Strip.
At least 12 Palestinians were killed since dawn on Sunday as Israeli forces intensified attacks across the Gaza Strip, despite claims of reducing airstrikes. Casualties included civilians seeking humanitarian aid in al-Shakoush near Rafah, and others targeted near the Thai Junction in al-Rimal, west of Gaza City. Israeli forces also detonated an armored vehicle in Tal al-Hawa, demolished homes, and carried out artillery and helicopter strikes across multiple areas, including Khan Younis, al-Bureij, and al-Zahra City.
Reports suggest that Israeli troops have not withdrawn from recent advances in Gaza City or northern positions, while movement of displaced residents toward southern Gaza has nearly halted due to continuous strikes and the collapsing health system. Additional attacks in al-Rimal resulted in more deaths and injuries among civilians, highlighting the ongoing relentlessness of the occupation’s campaign across the Strip.
The Gaza Ministry of Health reported 65 martyrs and 153 wounded over the past 24 hours, raising the overall death toll since October 7, 2023, to 67,139 and 169,583 injuries. Since Israel broke the ceasefire on March 18, 2025, casualties have reached 13,549 martyrs and 57,542 injured. Over 2,600 Palestinians seeking humanitarian aid have been killed, with more than 19,124 wounded.
