Iran Inflicts Major Damage on Haifa Oil Refinery and Its Pipelines

ALWAGHT- An Israeli drone attack on Iran’s South Pars gas field resulted in minor damage, whereas Iranian missile strikes inflicted damage on pipelines at the Haifa oil refinery.

The Bazan Petroleum Company reported that Iranian missile strikes caused localized damage to pipelines and transmission lines at its Haifa Bay complex, leading to temporary shutdowns of several facilities. Despite the damage, refining operations continue, and the company is assessing the overall impact while working to restore affected units. No casualties have been reported, but the attack highlights the growing vulnerability of critical energy infrastructure amid escalating regional tensions.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi confirmed that the Haifa oil refinery was successfully targeted as part of Iran’s Operation True Promise 3. Meanwhile, Israeli drone strikes on Iran’s South Pars gas field, specifically Phase 14, reportedly caused minimal damage. This strike, if confirmed, would mark the first known Israeli attack on Iran’s oil and natural gas infrastructure, though no casualties have been reported.

The South Pars site is strategically important and protected by air defense systems, which are part of a broader network Israel has been targeting since the recent escalation began. Both sides have sustained damage to critical energy facilities, underscoring the intensifying conflict and its impact on regional energy security.
