ALWAGHT- According to Iran, the Israeli documents it acquired show that European nations have been actively backing Israel’s nuclear military efforts, despite publicly advocating against nuclear proliferation.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei announced that intelligence obtained by Iran reveals extensive European involvement in supporting Israel’s military nuclear program, despite those countries' public commitment to non-proliferation. In a Monday press briefing, Baghaei emphasized that Iran’s stance toward Israel remains unchanged, describing it as an occupying force responsible for regional instability and ongoing aggression, particularly in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria.
The spokesman stated that the newly acquired documents highlight the hypocrisy of several European states, which outwardly promote nuclear disarmament while secretly aiding Israel's nuclear capabilities. He stressed that these revelations would expose what Iran has long understood about Western complicity in Israel's militarization, particularly regarding nuclear weapons.
Baghaei also praised Iranian intelligence agencies for conducting a complex and sophisticated cyber and field operation to extract a large cache of classified Israeli documents. These documents, which have been securely transferred and are under detailed examination, provide new insights into Israel’s strategic nuclear activities and the foreign support it receives, particularly from Europe. Further disclosures are expected.
