Did Gantz and Eisenkot "resign" or "escape"?

Did Gantz and Eisenkot "resign" or "escape"?

ALWAGHT- In recent news, "Benny Gantz" and "Gadi Eisenkot," two members of the Zionist regime's war cabinet, declared their resignations yesterday evening. They emphasized that the government and its leader fail to prioritize the regime's best interests in their decisions regarding warfare.

The departures of Gantz and Eisenkot cannot be perceived as typical ministerial resignations stemming from mere disagreements within the cabinet. Instead, these two figures exhibit a far more extreme and militant stance compared to Netanyahu and Ghalib, particularly in their fervent advocacy for achieving the objectives of the Gaza conflict.

However, considering their military backgrounds and the looming collapse of the current regime, they opted to abandon Netanyahu's sinking and exhausted leadership. Thus, "escape" aptly characterizes their decision to resign.

It's noteworthy that Gantz and Eisenkot's resignations occurred shortly after the operation to liberate four Israeli captives, challenging the narrative propagated by Netanyahu, his administration, and affiliated media outlets. This operation not only failed to achieve the purported victory but resulted in a significant military and political setback, as evidenced by Gantz and Eisenkot's departure from the cabinet.

Experts argue that their resignations, attributed to their inability to accomplish the war's objectives and the defeat suffered by Lieutenant General Avi Rosenfeld, commander of the Gaza Division, during the Al-Aqsa Storm battle on October 7 last year, will embolden Netanyahu's adversaries.

This has led to increased pressure from opponents and protests from the families of Israeli captives, demanding an agreement with Hamas for a prisoner exchange. These protests continued even after Netanyahu falsely claimed victory with the release of four captives, an operation that resulted in the death and injury of 1,000 Palestinians, the killing of three captives, and the deaths of several Zionist officers and soldiers.
