Desperate Terrorists Launch Chemical Weapons Attacks in Syria, Iraq

Desperate Terrorists Launch Chemical Weapons Attacks in Syria, Iraq

Alwaght-Foreign-backed terrorists reeling from a string of defeats by Iraqi and Syria forces are desperately fighting back by launching chemical weapons attacks.

These terrorists, backed by some Western countries and their regional allies, have clearly exhibited their ruthlessness by targeting innocent civilians using deadly chemical weapons.

In the most recent incident in Syria, the country’s army confirmed that terrorist groups located in the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo targeted the al-Nairab area and its surroundings with mortar shells containing chlorine on Sunday. In a statement, the Syrian Army General Command said that this terrorist attack is a response to the achievements made by army south and west of Aleppo and heavy losses suffered by terrorists. Foreign-backed Takfiri terrorists have used chemical weapons against Syrian army and civilians Syria several times in the past.  Terrorist groups in Syria also use chemical weapons against civilians as a strategy to blame Damascus for the atrocities and therefore undermine any chances for a peace process in the war-torn country.

In neighboring Iraq, ISIS Takfiri terrorist group launched three attacks using rockets filled with Mustard poisonous material on Qayyarah, leaving seven casualties including a 5-year-old child who suffered severe burns and was taken to Erbil for treatment. According to Iraqi media reports on Monday, the rocket fell near a house leaving a very strong smell. Last month, International Organization for Migration (IOM) had warned that amidst the Iraqi army operation the recapture Mosul, ISIS terrorists planned to unleash chemical attacks and use tens of thousands as human shields. Intelligence sources indicate that the Takfiri terrorist group has large quantities of mustard gas, ammonia and Sulphur.

Western Culpable in Chemical Weapons  Attacks by Terrorists

Terrorists in Iraq and Syria are targeting civilians using chemical weapons amid a deafening silence by Western countries and the UN. Indeed, some of the Western countries especially the US, France and Britain are culpable in the use of chemical weapons by terrorists in these two countries. In August this year, Syrian sources found a production workshop and warehouse of toxic chemicals, tens of mortar shells for filling Chemicals and large amounts of chemicals sent by US ally, Saudi Arabia. Syrian intelligence sources also say that some of the chemical weapons being used in the country come from Eastern European countries through NATO member, Turkey, which collaborates with Takfiri terrorists.

Despite compelling evidence presented to the United Nations Security Council on chemical weapons use by foreign-backed Takfiri terrorists in Syria and Iraq, the global body has failed to take any tangible action against these terrorists and their known backers.

Chemical Weapons Used in Desperation

Takfiri terrorists are committing atrocities and massacring innocent civilians in Iraq and Syria using chemical weapons as an act of desperation following major losses in the ongoing military operations by the armies of the two countries. On October 17, Iraqi army forces, backed by volunteer fighters launched an operation to retake the strategic city of Mosul from the ISIS Takfiri terrorists. Iraqi forces have so far liberated nearly 100 areas and villages since they began the decisive battle. Fleeing ISIS terrorists have now resorted use of chemical weapons in a sign of desperation amid an imminent crushing defeat.

In Syria’s key city of Aleppo Takfiri terrorists have also suffered major blows from Russian, Syrian and other local forces allied to Damascus. Reeling from losses in this city, foreign-backed terrorists have also resorted to the dangerous and deadly option of chemical weapons.

Turkey Meddling

While, Iraq and Syria come to terms with chemical weapons attack by Takfiri terrorists, the two countries also have to contend with incessant and illegal military attacks by neighboring Turkey under the pretext of combatting ISIS Takfiri terrorists group.

In the most recent incident, Turkish warplanes on Monday attacked areas near the northern Syrian town of al-Bab without coordination with Damascus. The Syrian government has on several occasions condemned Turkey’s violation of its territorial integrity adding that Ankara backs some terrorist groups in the country. Turkey has also been meddling in Iraq by sending its forces ostensibly to target ISIS but this move has come under sharp criticism from Iraqi leadership. Last month Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi called on Turkey to withdraw troops it has deployed near Mosul. Baghdad insists that it does not need the Turkish military assistance in the war on ISIS Takfiri terrorists.
