Alwaght- ISIS terrorists set 20 young detainees on fire at Hawija in Kirkuk province as they refused to join the terror group, a tribal leader declared.
Sheikh Nayef al-Naimi, tribal elder in Hawija, said,”On Tuesday, 20 young detainees in Bakara base in Hawija were set ablaze by ISIS as they refused to join the outfit.”
Naimi added that, “ISIS demands huge sum of money as ransom from the inhabitants of the region. It also demanded the accession of women to its ranks by force.”
Also on Thursday, ISIS terrorists had killed 12 Hawijah residents attempting to flee the terrorist-held area.
The northern and western parts of Iraq have been plagued by gruesome violence ever since ISIS terrorists began a campaign of terror in the country in June 2014, when they overran Mosul and declared it their so-called headquarters in Iraq.
ISIS terrorists have gained notoriety for their barbarity, heinous atrocities and sacrilegious acts. The terrorists are committing gross human rights violations and war crimes in the areas they control in Iraq as well as in neighboring Syria.
