Alwaght- Hezbollah resistance movement has condemned terrorist attack in al-Qaa village in Lebanon's northern Bekaa.
In a statement, Hezbollah said that this crime, which claimed lives of scores of innocent civilians, is a new product of the terrorist ideology plaguing the West Asia region and posing a serious threat against its people.
This ideology also threatens Lebanon and its people regardless of geographical area, religion or sect, the statement added. Hezbollah pointed out that murderous terrorists are getting covert and overt support from some countries and entities in the region and the world.
Those countries provide the terrorist groups with weaponry, equipment, media support, moral embrace and political protection, the statement pointed out.
Hezbollah stressed that this Takfiri ideology must be fought forcefully, detected and exposed in order to frustrate its plans and block its expansion as well as pervasion.
This contradicts with what is done by some Lebanese politicians and their entourage whose misleading stances conceal the malevolent ideas of the terrorists and justify their atrocities, Hezbollah noted.
A series of four suicide explosions struck on Monday at 10 minute intervals and hit the predominantly Christian village of al-Qaa in northern Bekaa near the border with Syria, leaving nine dead and 15 injured.
Meanwhile, Lebanon Army Commander General Jean Qahwaji paid an inspection visit to the village after the terrorist attack and said the army has full determination and capacity to continue fighting this terrorism, whose brutal crimes do not differentiate between one sect and another.
“Any act of terror, regardless of its magnitude, cannot at all affect the army's decisive determination to fight terror and protect Lebanon and its stability,” the army chief reassured.
