CIA to Escalate Syrian Conflict by Giving Terrorists Lethal Weapons

CIA to Escalate Syrian Conflict by Giving Terrorists Lethal Weapons

Alwaght-The US Central Intelligence Agency is planning to escalate the Syrian conflict by giving lethal weapons to terrorists fighting to topple the country’s government.

According to media reports, the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) prepares to supply representatives of the so-called "moderate opposition" in Syrian rebels with more lethal weapons should the fledgling cessation of hostilities collapse.

The Plan B will come into force should the truce collapse and negotiations lead nowhere was reportedly relayed by CIA Director John Brennan and State Secretary John Kerry in private meetings with Russian counterparts.

This is while the Saudi regime is engaged in plots to sabotage the Syria talks in Geneva to pave way for the implementation of the CIA plan.

The CIA and its regional partners are considering various types of anti-aircraft weapons for deliveries to what they call "Syrian rebels", although US officials declined to specify the precise systems, citing the program's sensitivity and concerns with Syrian government backers' possible countermeasures.

The Plan A cessation of hostilities between Syrian government forces and armed groups, with the exception of terrorist networks operating in the country, took effect on February 27 and has been described as largely holding despite violations.

Moscow recorded breaching of the ceasefire hundreds of times by Al-Nusra Front terrorists and other armed groups, classified by Washington as "moderate," following takfiri attacks against Syrian army posts in southern countryside of Aleppo.

While the US and its allies claim they are fighting against terrorist groups like ISIS, they in fact helped create and train those organizations to advance their policies in the West Asia region.

The CIA began its covert operation in 2013 to arm, fund and train terrorists to overthrow the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

However, the covert program has floundered for years, so much so that some lawmakers in Congress proposed cutting its budget. ISIS terrorists, who were initially trained by the CIA in Jordan in 2012 to destabilize the Syrian government, now control parts of Syria, Iraq and Libya. They have been engaged in crimes against humanity in the areas under their control.
