Alwaght- Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari the Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) and the Secretary of Iran's Expediency Council (EC) Mohsen Rezayee stated that Saudi Arabia would not make this mistake to send its armed forces to Syria.
The commander of IRGC on Saturday said that Saudi Arabia claimed they would send troops (to Syria) but he does not suppose they would dare to do so.
“They have a classic army and history tells us such armies stand no chance in fighting irregular resistance forces," he added.
Meanwhile, the Secretary of Iran's Expediency Council (EC) Mohsen Rezayee warned that Saudi Arabia's decision to send ground troops to Syria will engulf the entire region, except Iran.
"Undoubtedly, if the Saudi government decides to make such a crazy move, the entire region, including Saudi Arabia will go up in flames, while Iran will still remain intact and unscathed." Rezayee said.
The Saudi Defense Ministry, on Thursday, expressed their readiness to deploy ground troops to Syria to allegedly aid the so-called US-led anti ISIS coalition.
This news came while Saudi-led coalition aggression on impoverished neighboring Yemen has not yet achieved its preset goals.
Saudi Arabia announced ten months ago that it launched its airstrike on Yemen to restore Mansur Hadi to power and eliminate Ansarullah from Yemen's political scene, but Riyadh not only did not fulfilled its preset goals but also its attacked paved the way for Ansarullah to take control of more areas in the Arab county.
