ALWAGHT- Iranian Armed Forces Chief of Staff Major General Ali Abdollahi cautions that another conflict with Iran would carry severe repercussions for all parties, warning that its consequences could spread far beyond the battlefield.
Major General Ali Abdollahi warned that any new war against Iran would have consequences for all sides, saying its “flames” would engulf the region. He also blamed the US military presence for regional insecurity and economic problems.
Abdollahi rejected claims that Iran’s nuclear program has become military in nature, calling them baseless. He criticized Israel’s reported nuclear arsenal and urged the IAEA and other international organizations to avoid what he described as unfounded statements about Iran’s nuclear facilities.
He also warned the US against taking military action against Iran, saying Tehran would respond immediately and without limitation to any US or Israeli-initiated attack. Abdollahi stressed that Iran is prepared to confront threats regardless of their scale.
The Iranian commander said previous conflicts had demonstrated the strength of Iran’s armed forces, claiming Israel suffered heavy losses during the latest 12-day war. He warned that any future Israeli aggression would face a strong response from both Iran’s military and population.
