ALWAGHT- A coordinated security operation in Iran’s southeastern Sistan and Baluchestan Province has resulted in the dismantling of a terrorist network allegedly supported by the United States and Israel. The operation was jointly carried out by the Intelligence Ministry, the IRGC Intelligence Organization, and local police forces.
The IRGC Ground Forces’ Quds Base said security forces had identified and dismantled a terrorist team in Sistan and Baluchestan Province during a joint operation with the Intelligence Ministry, the IRGC Intelligence Organization and provincial police. The operation, based on intelligence monitoring, resulted in the deaths of two alleged members.
According to the statement, the group was affiliated with Israel and the United States and had been planning attacks against predetermined targets in the province. The IRGC said the planned operations were intended to be coordinated with the ongoing US war.
