ALWAGHT- The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) spokesman, Brigadier General Mohsen Mohebbi, says Iran has plans in place to counter every US plot amid escalating economic warfare.
IRGC spokesman Brigadier General Mohsen Mohebbi said the United States’ decision to wage an intensified economic war on Iran amounts to an admission of defeat in the military arena. He said Washington has been conducting economic warfare against Iran for 47 years through sanctions targeting various sectors.
Mohebbi said Iran has prepared scenarios to counter every hostile action, including economic warfare, and can mitigate its effects. He added that Iran is expanding economic ties with other countries while bypassing US restrictions, saying the results of these efforts would become evident in the near future.
