Esmail Qaani, commander of the IRGC Quds Force, described the funeral prayers for Iran's martyred Leader as an "unbelievable event," saying those close to him accepted his martyrdom as part of God's will. He said the Leader's death after a lifetime of devoted struggle represented the highest and most righteous end.
Qaani said the late Leader's martyrdom provided a clear direction for the future, reaffirming the armed forces' commitment to his doctrine. He said the event reinforced their resolve to continue resisting what he described as arrogant powers.
