Iran Will Not Surrender Its Rights, Ghalibaf Assures Munir

ALWAGHT- On Saturday, Iran's parliamentary leader informed Pakistan's army chief that Iran will not abandon its national rights, especially as the US has proven itself dishonest and unreliable.

Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf told Pakistan's Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir in Tehran that Iran will defend its national rights with courage on the battlefield and with intelligence on the diplomatic front. Ghalibaf emphasized that military men understand the value of peace better than anyone but will never allow their country's dignity to be trampled. He blamed Washington for launching the war while negotiations were underway, noting that Iran was observing a Pakistan-brokered ceasefire when the US broke its word and imposed a naval blockade—and now seeks to lift it. Ghalibaf warned that Iran's armed forces have used the truce to rebuild, and if Trump restarts the war, it will be "more crushing and bitter for America than the first day."

Pakistan's army chief responded by saying the Pakistani people hold the best wishes for Iran's future, adding, "You and I are both soldiers of our nations, and soldiers speak without stuttering and with honesty." Munir expressed satisfaction that Iran is led by intelligent people with high vision at this critical juncture. The meeting was part of a packed day of diplomatic engagements for Munir in Tehran, which also included talks with Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and a session with President Masoud Pezeshkian.
