ALWAGHT- Any repeat of enemy aggression will compel Iran’s powerful military to open new fronts, the Army’s spokesman announced.
During a public gathering at Vali-e Asr Square in Tehran, Iranian Army spokesman Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia warned that any new aggression by the enemy—especially if repeated as another "folly" falling into the Zionists' trap—would be met with the opening of new fronts using new tools and methods. He emphasized that Iran cannot be blockaded or defeated, adding that the Armed Forces now have full command over the Strait of Hormuz, whose previous status quo will never return. According to Akraminia, the only way for the enemy is to respect Iran's legitimate rights.
The remarks come after the US and Israel launched an unprovoked war against Iran on February 28, assassinating Iran's Supreme Leader and striking nuclear sites, schools, and hospitals. Iran retaliated with 100 waves of strikes under Operation True Promise 4 and imposed a new maritime regime in the Strait of Hormuz, requiring all vessels to seek Iranian permission. A Pakistan-brokered ceasefire has been in place since early April, but a US naval blockade of Iranian ports continues. Tehran insists the strait will remain closed until the blockade is lifted and the war ends permanently.
