ALWAGHT- The head of Iran's Parliamentary National Security and Foreign Policy Commission stressed the strategic importance of the Strait of Hormuz, calling it a complete source of economic, political, and military leverage that will always stay under Iranian control and management.
Ebrahim Azizi, head of Iran's Parliamentary National Security Commission, issued a warning to any country harboring illusions of projecting power in the Strait of Hormuz, stating that Iran is moving forward with full authority to secure its legal rights and will not compromise with anyone. He described the strait as a permanent strategic position and a full-fledged economic, political, and military leverage that will forever remain under the control and management of the Iranian nation. Azizi emphasized that control of this vital waterway is an indisputable right of Iran, and any hostile action or attempt to limit Iran's sovereignty in the region will be met with a decisive and authoritative response.
Azizi also expressed gratitude to countries that supported the Resistance Front during the Ramadan War, stating that the entire axis backed the Iranian nation and that this support will remain enduring in the history of regional relations. He emphasized that Iran, relying on its internal power and the backing of the Resistance Front, is fully capable of safeguarding all its national interests, including the strategic control of the Strait of Hormuz. "We will continue our path with authority, and no threat or sanction will weaken the will of the Iranian nation," he concluded.
