Trump Blasts Reporter for Reading Gunman’s Manifesto: ‘I’m Not a Pedophile’

ALWAGHT- President Donald Trump snapped at a reporter who asked about the suspected shooter's manifesto following the White House dinner incident, insisting that he is not the "pedophile" or "rapist" described by the gunman.

In a CBS News interview, President Donald Trump denied being a "pedophile" or "rapist" after being questioned about the manifesto of the White House dinner shooting suspect. Trump then told the host, "You should be ashamed of yourself reading that." The Saturday shooting at the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner, which Trump attended, injured a Secret Service agent. The suspect, 31-year-old California teacher Cole Thomas Allen, was captured at the scene.

In a 1,052-word manifesto published by the New York Post, Allen named US officials as targets "prioritized from highest-ranking to lowest" while explicitly excluding FBI Director Kash Patel. Writing that he acted to hold the government accountable, Allen stated: "I am no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes." He said he aimed to reduce casualties among security personnel, hotel staff, and guests but would still go through attendees if necessary.

Allen listed "rebuttals" to anticipated criticism, adding that he is neither a rape victim in a detention camp nor an executed fisherman. His references appeared to include US strikes on Venezuela-linked boats, an attack on an Iranian girls' school, immigration enforcement, and the Jeffrey Epstein case. The injured Secret Service agent is in stable condition, and Allen remains in federal custody.
