ALWAGHT- Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi discusses ending war with Pakistani Army Chief in Islamabad.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi met with Pakistan's Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir in Islamabad on Saturday to discuss the ongoing war between Iran and the United States, as well as regional peace and stability in West Asia. During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on the latest developments related to a ceasefire and the termination of the conflict.
Araghchi appreciated Pakistan's efforts to establish a ceasefire and thanked Army Chief Field Marshal Munir for his country's continued mediation efforts. In response, Field Marshal Munir expressed Pakistan's readiness to continue its diplomatic efforts until a final result is achieved.
The Iranian foreign minister arrived in Islamabad on Friday to communicate Iran's views and concerns regarding the end of the imposed war. The trip follows Field Marshal Munir's visit to Tehran earlier. Araghchi is also scheduled to visit Oman and Russia during his mission.
