ALWAGHT- Iranian IRGC Navy captures two vessels, MSC-FRANCESCA and EPAMINODES, for tampering with navigation systems and risks to safety in the Strait of Hormuz.
The IRGC Navy announced the capture of two ships, MSC-FRANCESCA (suspected to have links with Israel) and EPAMINODES, for infringing navigational safety rules in the Strait of Hormuz. The IRGC asserted that these vessels were taken into custody and transported to Iran's coastline.
The statement warned against disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz, setting it as a "red line." Shortly afterward, media reports indicated that a Greek ship named Euphoria had been targeted by the IRGC, but no immediate details were available regarding the crew or cargo.
