ALWAGHT- Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi arrived in Geneva late Sunday to lead diplomatic and technical consultations.
Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, arrived in Geneva on Monday at the head of a diplomatic and technical delegation to conduct a series of consultations.
Upon arrival, he was received by Wolfgang Brülhart, Special Representative of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs for the Middle East and North Africa.
During the visit, the Iranian foreign minister is scheduled to hold meetings with the Swiss foreign minister, his counterpart from Oman, and the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, in addition to other senior international officials based in Switzerland.
Araghchi is also expected to deliver a speech at the United Nations Conference on Disarmament in Geneva.
