ALWAGHT- On the 128th day of the Gaza ceasefire, Israeli occupation forces continued violations, killing nine Palestinians in Jabalia and Khan Younis and bringing the total death toll since the start of the offensive to 72,051.
Israeli forces resumed attacks on the Gaza Strip on the 128th day of the ceasefire, targeting civilian infrastructure and residential areas. Over the past 24 hours, nine Palestinians were killed and many others injured in Jabalia and Khan Younis, with widespread demolitions and shelling destroying homes and livelihoods across the region.
Since October 7, 2023, the conflict has claimed 72,051 Palestinian lives and injured over 171,700, despite a ceasefire reached in October 2025. Hospitals have been systematically targeted over the past three years, leaving many victims without timely medical care and severely straining Gaza’s healthcare system.
Medical facilities, including Al-Shifa, Al-Aqsa Martyrs, and Nasser hospitals, face critical shortages of fuel, electricity, medicines, and equipment. Doctors warn that if generators fail, hospitals will be unable to operate vital services, including surgeries, neonatal care, dialysis, and chemotherapy, placing thousands of patients and wounded civilians at immediate risk.
