ALWAGHT- The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson issued a strong rebuke of Israel's air attacks on various locations within Lebanon, emphasizing the necessity for the United Nations Security Council members to swiftly halt Israeli aggression by fulfilling their assigned duties.
Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Esmaeil Baghaei, strongly denounced Israel's heavy airstrikes on residential areas in southern Lebanon, causing destruction to civil infrastructure and construction facilities. He characterized this aggression as a blatant violation of UN Charter principles and an instance of a war crime, highlighting the responsibility of ceasefire guarantors for the actions of the Israeli regime.
Continuing its violations of the ceasefire agreement, Israel launched additional air attacks on various Lebanese locations. Baghaei expressed condolences to the families of the martyrs and solidarity with the Lebanese government and people while urging immediate action from the international community to curb Israeli impunity.
He also emphasized the importance for the United Nations, particularly the Security Council, to fulfill its duties to swiftly end these aggressions and hold Israel accountable for its international law violations.
