ALWAGHT- Hostile forces have turned to spreading rumors and engaging in psychological warfare against the Islamic Republic of Iran, as they failed to accomplish their aims during the latest upheaval.
Iran's Judiciary chief Gholamhossein Mohseni-Eje’i stated that after suffering defeat during recent protests, hostile forces have resorted to widespread psychological operations, rumor-mongering, and distortion of facts.
These hostile sources are circulating fabricated and exaggerated figures about casualties in the recent events, which are far from reality.
The riots followed incendiary remarks by US President Donald Trump, who threatened fresh military aggression against Iran, as well as public statements encouraging vandalism and disorder. Foreign-backed mercenaries rampaged through cities, causing damage, killing security forces and civilians, and destabilizing the country during the unrest.
Mohseni-Eje’i also noted that the enemy had incorrectly assumed that the Islamic Republic of Iran was near collapse during a 12-day war in June but suffered a complete defeat at that time. The recent unrest was a continuation of that 12-day war, with the enemy using similar methods of intimidation, including those used by ISIS terrorist group to spread fear and chaos.
He emphasized that Iran's enemies, particularly "criminal America and its president," should not expect pressure campaigns or media offensives to force the Iranian people to retreat. The Iranian people will remain steadfast in their beliefs and religion, loyal to the Islamic system, and dedicated to their homeland despite any amount of pressure or propaganda bombardment.
