Larijani Refers to The Rioters in Iran as Quasi-terrorist Groups

ALWAGHT- In a statement, Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, accused enemies of organizing violent rioters into quasi-terrorist urban groups that confronted security forces.

Iranian officials accuse foreign enemies of manipulating domestic protests to fuel violent unrest following the 12-day war in June 2025. Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, claimed that these saboteurs have been organized into quasi-terrorist urban groups aiming for civil war.

Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution, criticized these vandals for causing damage in cities like Tehran to please the US President, Donald Trump. He stated that Trump has acknowledged ordering attacks during the 12-day war that resulted in over 1,000 Iranian casualties.

Both Larijani and Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized a firm stance against armed groups seeking to disrupt public order and attack military or government centers. They stressed that such actions will not be tolerated by the Judiciary or security forces.

Ayatollah Khamenei called on Iranian youth to remain united, prepared, and present in the face of adversity, asserting that a unified nation can overcome any enemy. He also warned against mercenary attitudes towards outsiders, stressing that those who serve foreign interests will be rejected by the Islamic nation.
