ALWAGHT- Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said the current circumstances are not conducive to talks with the United States, emphasizing that Iran’s domestic matters are the sole concern of its people.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi emphasized that the country’s internal matters are strictly the concern of the Iranian people, responding to US President Donald Trump’s interventionist remarks and support for rioters. He highlighted that the government and citizens continue to engage in dialogue and cooperation.
Araghchi stated that current conditions are not suitable for negotiations with the United States due to Washington’s policies, while reaffirming that Iran has always been open to talks grounded in mutual respect and shared interests—an approach he said is currently lacking in the US administration.
The foreign minister also announced a visit to Lebanon, accompanied by an economic delegation, to strengthen longstanding ties with the Lebanese government and institutions and to further expand bilateral relations.
