ALWAGHT- Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Iran’s Leader, asserted that the West’s antagonism is rooted in Iran’s opposition to the global unjust order, not its nuclear activities, while commending Iranian youth.
Iran’s Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei stated that Western hostility toward Iran stems not from its nuclear program, but from its challenge to the global unjust order. In a message to the Union of Islamic Student Associations in Europe, he emphasized that Iran’s pursuit of justice and resistance to global hegemony is the true source of agitation among corrupt and oppressive powers.
Ayatollah Khamenei praised Iranian youth for their courage, initiative, and self-sacrifice in defending the nation against US and Israeli aggression, noting that their efforts demonstrate the country’s ability to stand firm and promote Islamic values internationally. He also highlighted the role of the families of martyrs as pioneers in this ongoing movement.
Addressing students abroad, Ayatollah Khamenei encouraged them to recognize their potential and lead their associations in support of Iran’s mission, stressing faith, resilience, and the eventual success of their cause. He framed steadfastness and reliance on internal capabilities as key to resisting external pressures and maintaining national sovereignty.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi echoed this message, praising the country’s resilience during the 12-day aggression by Israel and the US. He stressed that Iran’s refusal to surrender and its insistence on genuine diplomacy underscores the nation’s commitment to its sovereignty and nuclear rights, while the UN mission criticized US demands as attempts to force Iran’s capitulation rather than engage in true negotiations.
